Baldi 7.0 - Multiplayer Host Settings & Voice Chat Update 🎉

Hey everyone!

This new update is packed with awesome features for multiplayer mode, giving you even more ways to customize your game and communicate with friends. Let’s dive into what’s new!

Additions

Host Settings Feature

You asked for it, and it’s here! Hosts now have access to settings that allow them to customize the multiplayer game:

1. Game Modes (Locked):
   • Competitive: One player becomes Baldi, and the other becomes the player. Baldi’s job is to catch the player before time runs out!
   • Cooperation: Both players are students working together to survive Baldi.
2. Map Selection (Locked):
   • Choose between the Classic Map or the Public Demo Map.
   • The Classic Map includes standard notebook objectives.
3. Random Events:
   • Toggle random events on or off.
4. Character Toggles:
   • Disable or enable specific characters, such as the Principal, Bully, etc., to customize the challenge.
5. Baldi Options (Locked):
   • If "Competitive" mode is selected, choose who will play as Baldi—or let the AI handle it!
6. Second Floor (Locked):
   • Enable or disable the Second Floor (available only on the Classic Map).
7. Time Limit:
   • Set how long the game lasts! Choose from:
     • 2 minutes
     • 3 minutes
     • 5 minutes
     • 10 minutes

Voice Chat

• Talk to your friends while playing with the new voice chat feature!
• If you don’t want to use it, simply deny microphone permissions in your device settings.
• (This addition is why the game size has increased to 153 MB.)

Bug Fixes

• Exit Fix:
  • Fixed an issue where exits weren’t working in multiplayer mode.

Known Issues

• NPC Lag in Multiplayer:
  • NPCs may cause performance issues in multiplayer for now. It’s recommended to disable characters using the host settings to improve performance.
